How much did you raise for our Charities at our 2009 Show
At our Show and 'The Bit in the Middle' this year (2009) you raised £2002.25 - Not bad eh!!!!!

Right - there was the Gate Quiz (well we didn't make much as it rained on Friday and everyone just wanted to get set up! - Oh, and we didn't have a photo of anyone taking copy but someone must as we made £34 from the Gate Quiz!!
Then there was the evening Quiz. A great evening, a sell out, which everyone seemed to enjoy. (Accept Frances when she had her photo taken!) Good news is we raised £95 and didn't spend a penny as the prize was RAFFLE TICKETS! |

Many, many thanks to the trainers who gave up their time to run the Training Morning, Peter and Margaret Jennings, Bev Dale, Mike Richardson, Nancy Hudson, Janet Nero, Dave Andreassen and Jackie Reid. Between you all you raised - £705 for our club (We share half with Lune Valley Club so it was £1410 in all.)

The Fun afternoon run by Lune Valley Club raised - £286.50 for us, a little less than in previous years but it was pouring with rain so many thanks. Oh, and 'you know' who got to wear her pajamas and fulfil her dream to act as a judge without having to do any work!

And then there was the JAM. Well there is never enough as it is in great demand. Made by our Show Manager, Pat Spray.
This year we also had another friend who also made more jam for us to sell. (Sorry although we know you well, no-one could remember your name! Tell Frances!)
The jam raised - £95. Not bad eh!
And the Pay on the Day ring, thanks to Alex and Jim raised £18 in the pouring rain, and we mean POURING RAIN! |

Soooooooooooooooooo in all you raised - £2002.25 and we have given £1000 to the local Barrow RSPCA and the local Hospice - St Mary's Hospice.
And we start the new year with £2.25.
