The Club Competition - What's it all about?

The Agility and Jumping Dog of the Year Competition

All your points count and you could be a winner!

All members who compete can submit points for any places they gain at Agility Shows, either Kennel Club or unaffiliated shows. The North West Interclub, Fun Days and Matches do not count.

There are separate awards for Grades 1&2,
3&4, 5,6&7 and Veteran and Any Size.
If your grade changes during the year you will
take your points with you up to your new grade.
Prizes are presented at the Presentation
Evening prior to the AGM.

The competition runs from the 1st January to the 31st December.
What can you get points for?
Points can be claimed for any class included on the Schedule and Running Orders for Kennel Club and Unaffiliated Shows. Points are not awarded for Fun Days or Matches.
If members run in pairs or teams they get points if the team gained a place and if the team is unplaced, they personally can get points for a clear round or 5 faults.

Members can claim points for the class in which they run. This means, for example, that a Grade 5 dog funs in an occasional veteran class, any points gained can be added to their Grade 5 points, not put into veteran category.
Points are given for positions from 1 to 20, any other rosette position, a clear round or 5 faults. A list of the points system is outlined below.
