The Show and the Bit in the Middle 2007 - What's it all about?

The good news is that you can have a weeks holiday in the Lake District, attend 2 Kennel Club Agility Shows, do some training, take part in a Fun afternoon and just relax. What more could you ask for.

Come and join us from Friday 22^nd June until Sunday 1^st July – even Sunday night if you want.

Lune Valley have decided this year to extend their 2007 show to 3 days. It will now run on Saturday 23rd June, Sunday 24th June AND Monday 25th June and Barrow show is on from Friday 29th June until Sunday 1st July.

Following discussions with the Westmorland Showground, who have been very helpful, Lune and Barrow will be organising 'The Bit in the Middle' on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. This will enable you to stay for the whole week and have a look around the Lake District on Tuesday and Thursday and even climb a mountain if you feel like it!

On Wednesday morning you can take part in a training session run by one of the trainers who are volunteering their services. More info soon when everything has been firmed up but just to say you might have the opportunity to try heelwork to music and small and medium dogs and dogs new to agility, will not be left out! On Wednesday afternoon there will be a fun agility session with a number of runs and activities. Watch this space!

All the proceeds from 'The Bit in the Middle will go to Barrow and Lune charities.

Oh, and there is no pressure, if you just want to relax during ‘The Bit in the Middle’ and not take part in the Wednesday activities, then that is up to you. Just come along and enjoy yourself. And if you just want to leave your caravan after Lune show and come back for Barrow show we can sort that our as well.

Oh, and there is going to be a real ale tent at each of the shows so no need to bring any booze and Barrow will be having their raffle but ‘you know who’ has said she will not be going on the tanoy to harass you!
