This is Digger, he is a 12 month old, male, neutered, Border Collie.  His ideal owner MUST be someone with knowledge and experience of dog behaviour and also dog training.Someone who has LOTS of TIME to spend training and stimulating him. He has defensive issues particularly when on the lead, which with plenty of treats this seems to be getting better, but would need carrying on, along with plenty of socialisation and exposure to new things. His behaviour towards our dogs has improved in the time we have had him, he seems to be able to cope better with our dogs, and is learning how to play. Again on the lead he doesn't have social skills when greeting other dogs, with the right person this can be overcome easily. When he was 4 months he was hit on the nose by a child, he seems to have remembered this and so would also need to be taken in to consideration when re homing him.

He will reward you with loyalty and enthusiasm and his very playful, he just needs a firm but fair owner who can teach him to be a happy and confident young dog and also let him re live his puppyhood, which he seems to have missed out on.
