You will have an initial 6 weeks course in the Improvers at a fee of £18. This is a basic payment due even if you are unable to attend on any occasion. You will then be asked to pay £18 for each subsequent 6 weeks.

Improvers progress gradually onto a full course of 20 obstacles, learn more advanced handling techniques and get up to full height jumps and contact equipment. 

Improvers also learn how to walk a course and think how to work it. During this time they get more information about how agility works and how they become more involved in the matches and shows.

Members stay in this group until they are ready to compete and indeed even when they are competing. This will vary with each handler and dog.
